About Us
Beginning in 1986, working with the early business and PC markets, specialising in networking, communications and "cross platform interoperability", BBS's (pre-Internet), UNIX and network administration, "multimedia" data systems for audio and video, I have worked with the primary operating systems of today from the beginnings. From small business to large scale telecommunications networks and large scale IT help desk systems.
My business and support philosophy
When I started as a consultant, the ideologies at the time were aimed at "keeping it simple and making it all work." - for me, that has not changed. I have worked in an atmosphere of getting everything to work with everything else - as was the original intention of IT. Through the early 90's the entire IT "environment" became fragmented by large scale corporations and "legal force" - and my "mindset" is still based on "old school" thinking - "Thinking outside the box" as it were. My goal is consistently to keep things simple, keep things working - fix it right the first time - and have technology do what it was intended to do.
This is where I stand today. It doesn't matter if it's Apple, Microsoft, Linux, Android - I get it work, and do so in such a way that there is minimal maintenance required on YOUR part or my part. I find solutions to the problems that are forced upon the "modern" tech user, and also find free and open source resolutions to deal with other requirements that may be otherwise extremely costly (like servers and networks).
